It is with great pleasure we announce that West End Studio Theatre will be assuming the responsibility of providing your children with dance instruction.  InMotion Dance West recently announced plans to wind down their nearly eleven year run as a dance studio.  The decision to continue dance instruction was a simple one, given the fact that we have shared the same space as InMotion Dance West over the last three years and we were instrumental in the construction of the dance studio.  We have even had the pleasure of seeing many of your children in our own acting classes.  Although change is sometimes uncomfortable, it will be business as usual and the transition will be as seamless as possible.

West End Studio Theatre is an award winning acting studio that encourages people of all ages to enjoy the experience of theatre and film. Our mission is to produce exceptional theatre and artistic development in the community while educating and inspiring creativity through a variety of classes and workshops.   Every year W.E.S.T. also produces two productions for the Oakville Drama Series.

W.E.S.T. currently provides in-class instruction for students aged three years to adult for acting and singing. Stage classes consist of theatre games and learning theatre language. Television and film classes focus on audition, cold reading, and scene study fundamentals.  Vocal and singing classes are offered to students twelve years of age and up, teaching proper singing technique.

The addition of dance to our roster is an exciting opportunity for W.E.S.T., as it is a wonderful and welcome extension of our catalogue of performing arts disciplines.  West End Studio Theatre is currently developing intriguing cross-discipline possibilities including the launch of a Musical Theatre class for January, 2012.  Additionally, W.E.S.T. is excited to announce the return of Saturday classes for dancers aged three to eight years of age.

Looking forward to the Fall of 2011, please know that W.E.S.T. will continue to deliver high quality and relevant programs to all our students.  In recognition and appreciation of your continued support for W.E.S.T., we are offering a 10% discount on dance tuition fees to returning students.  Additionally, a 5% discount will be applied for a paid referral to any W.E.S.T. program.
