Once Spoken

Choreographer: Claire Ward
Set during the Victorian Era, Once Spoken uncovers the frustrations and limitations of a young woman struggling for identity. Suffocating in a life of restrictions, she wrestles internally with bitterness and doubt, thoughts that increasingly alienate her from her peers. Spurred by anger, pushed to the limit, her thoughts find a voice and suffocation is quickly replaced with fear of the unknown and herself.
