Over the past eleven years at InMotion Dance, we have had the privilege of getting to know and to teach all of your children -- each and every one of them, their own success story. Whether it may have been witnessing the sparkle in their 4 year old eyes on a Saturday morning as
they successfully learned to “really” skip down the room like a princess, or the excitement and anticipation of awaiting their first pair of pointe shoes, and then the pain in their toes as they first learned what it actually felt like to wear them, or congratulating them on a successful completion of an exam, or entrance into the art school of their choice both secondary and post-secondary…. These were all golden moments that we’ve shared, cherished, and found great reward in year after year.
Now, after eleven years, it’s time to move forward to a new chapter in our lives to allow for other areas of ourselves to grow as parents, teachers, and as artists. “The Legwarmer” children’s show has also taken a large role in our lives for the past seven years, and it too needs nurturing and fostering to develop into a broader spectrum of dance education for children everywhere… at least this is our goal and our wish for this production. It now needs our care and guidance in order to send it out into the world.
And so, with a true gratefulness that blooms from the bottoms of our hearts, we thank you for entrusting your children to be part of our InMotion Dance family for all these years, and for allowing for us to shed a small imprint of ourselves onto their hearts. We hope that they continue down the paths of dance wherever it may lead them, and can most certainly ascertain that the gifts they have given us in being able to be apart of their weekly lives will truly remain as a joyous and comforting cornerstone of our hearts forever.
We would also like to thank the WEST family and all of their generosity over the years for sharing their home and their talents with us and we wish them all the success in the world to continue to carry out the mission of theatre and dance in developing the student of the stage.
Here’s to one last show, one last goodbye, and one final curtain call….
Forever in our hearts,
Christine and Lisa Brkich
